Africa Semiconductor Investors Forum — Forum Proceedings Report 2026

The Africa Semiconductor Investors Forum, convened by AUDA NEPAD, DSTI, CSIR, AAS and NINA JOJER, held on 20–21 April 2026 at the Hyatt Regency Westlands, Nairobi, under the theme From the Ground Up: Africa's Minerals-To-Microchips Moment. Bringing together continental development institutions, global semiconductor industry practitioners, venture capital principals, academic researchers, and senior government representatives, ASIF was the first coordinated effort to mobilise semiconductor investment on the African continent.

Over two days, the Forum moved from analytical foundation-building to concrete institutional commitments — producing a signed design-to-manufacturing MOU between STL and ChipMango, a nine-month AUDA-NEPAD action roadmap, and a consolidated accountability framework anchored to the December 2026 Africa Semiconductor Conference at Science Forum South Africa.

The Forum Proceedings Report documents the full record of both days: panel discussions, keynote interventions, roundtable outputs, cross-cutting themes, and all formal commitments with named responsible parties and timelines.
